As part of a major expansion of its Flexaire™ Air Handling Unit portfolio, Moducel has announced the availability of its new compact LKF air handling unit range.
The feature-laden LKF range offers a versatile product targeted at the lower airflow market.
The LKF range has been specifically designed to appeal to a broader market. Airflow ranges from 0.1 to 1.9 m³/sec, with either CW/LPHW/DX or electric coils and ECA approved efficient motors. The LKF standard range is also designed for fast track manufacture with a three-day delivery on most projects and built of a modular structure in a lean manufacturing environment.
"The current LKS models from Moducel are a tried and tested design, but now with the introduction of the LKF range, it gives the company a platform to provide high specification, fast track products" says Tony Twine, UK Sales Manager for Eaton-Williams Air Conditioning.
"Moducel has a long reputation in providing high quality products, traditionally focusing on customised and specialised applications, therefore the LKF range is a new departure and enables us to offer clients a smaller, flexible air handling solution" adds Peter Dewdney, Eaton-Williams Group Marketing Manager.
The LKF range combines quality design with optimised sizing, resulting in a more compact and smaller footprint than available in the current LKS range. All units feature a common design specification. If required, units can be factory assembled on to a common channel base frame. Internal and external units are available. The latter can have an optional roof section covering the complete unit to provide natural drainage in wet weather conditions.
The unit comprises of a frame of 30mmX30mm aluminium extruded sections with cast alloy corner pieces. Inset cover panels are either double skinned galvanised steel or Plastisol covered. The access doors are fitted with continuous seals.
The fan section is a similar construction incorporating a DIDW forward curved fan, driven by a TEFC motor and Vee belt drive is selected to operate on a 24/7 basis.
A number of filters are offered including throw-away panel filters. The filter section is accessed via a quick release door for ease of maintenance.
